Astrology 1 (also available online learning)

We begin with the fundamentals of astrology by exploring the physical sky. We will meet the cast of astrological characters symbolized by the planets and learn more about how the planets interact in both the astronomical and symbolic sky. The qualities, meaning, and mythology of each planet are discussed, including the planetoid Chiron. We will also about the journey of the Sun and moon as they appear to make their way around us here on Earth, and the important Lunar Nodes. We will look at the psychological dimension of planetary symbols and how these symbols can be applied for practical understanding.

Class discussion will centre on students examples, as well as examples drawn from the charts of well known persons. You will also learn something about the history of astrology, encountering some of the famous faces who have worked with astrology.

Astrology 2 (also available online learning)

Our second course introduces you to the stage (the houses) and backdrop (the signs) of the birth chart, against which our planetary characters appear. The chart can be likened to a circular theater, with the planets interacting upon it to evoke the drama of our own individual lives. We will look at the nature our solar system, and how our relationship to the cosmos can be mapped back down to us here on earth through the horoscope. We will learn about the houses of the chart, and how they describe all aspects of everyday life. We will be introduced to the basic building blocks of astrology, including polarity, mode and element. Then we will explore the Zodiac signs and the Ascendant to discover which areas of life they influence, and so come to an awareness of why we act the way that we do in certain situations.

Astrology 6

This subject covers advanced and traditional predictions and includes topics such as Solar and Lunar Returns, Eclipses and Solar Arc Directions. We will also explore Firdaria, Profections and Time Lords. We will look at important chart points, including the Part of Fortune, Vertex and Midpoints, and how these can be included to expand the repertoire available to the practising astrologer. It offers students an insight into as well as practical experience with these specialised and traditional predictive techniques. Our focus is on practical, real-life interpretations, so that students learn how to prioritise different predictive techniques. This course will hone forecasting and interpreting skills to a professional standard, in readiness for the FAA Dynamic exam. Students will apply these techniques to their own charts, or charts of people they know.

This workshop aims to develop participants’ awareness of the skills, techniques and attitudes to develop and maintain a successful practice.

This module involves the conduct of energetic healing sessions with general public clients under supervision. Participants will receive support and feedback on the sessions conducted. Direct clinical observation and review will be provided.

Intuitive Awareness 1 – Intuition, Chakras & Energy Fundamentals (evening class)

Intuitive Awareness 1 is about Establishing the Foundation. This term provides insights and practical skills to enhance intuitive awareness and personal wellbeing. Students will learn about the use of intuition in daily life and the value of working with the power of intention. The body’s subtle energy system is discussed and weekly practical exercises will provide understanding of the physical and psychological function of the seven major chakras. An understanding of the mind-body connection, the benefits of a supportive environment and personal energy protection, provides insights and practical skills to enhance and maintain energy levels and wellbeing. Students will also have the opportunity for intuitive integration and experience natural occurring altered states of consciousness using sound and creative methods.

Once completed, students can then proceed onto Intuitive Awareness 3 in term 3 which only has a pre requisite of Intuitive Awareness 1.

Intuitive Awareness 2 – Connecting with Higher Guidance, Spirit & Soul

This workshop extends the application of building the foundation of intuitive awareness with a focus on opening to higher guidance (spirit guides and angels) and clarifying distinctions between the ego, soul and spirit. The difference between syncronicity and co-incidence is explained in-conjunction with insights into higher level communication. The concept of duality versus non duality is reviewed in context with how we live our lives. Relationship of past life experiences to current life situations and the book of life are explored along with karma and the Akashic Records. Students will get a sense of living with an attitude of gratitude.

This course is for any one who has wanted to learn how to develop their psychic abilities or to enhance their current psychic skills. You may be thinking of using your natural psychic ability to enhance your personal and/or work life by becoming more intuitive or to develop an income stream by offering people readings. We all have the natural ability of psychic awareness, it is just that for most people it is a skill that has been forgotten or perhaps a bit neglected.

The course is offered in two parts:
Psychic Development 1. Opening to your Psychic Self, and
Psychic Development 2. Developing your Psychic Skills

The course is run in a small supportive and fun group environment with plenty of opportunity to practice.
There is also the opportunity to join the monthly psychic development circle to gain more experience.

Yes, beginners are welcome as the activities will be suitable for all.

What the group is not: The group is not for mediumship training or for spirit rescues. However, your skills will support you if you chose to go on to develop your mediumship skills.
What will the group involve? The group will include a welcome meditation, an explanation of the activity/process and lots of time to practice. There will be a different theme for each group session. Also, lots of opportunity to meet new like minded friends.

Develop greater awareness of the Oneness of being, our connection with All that is, in a profound space of unconditional love. Further enhance your Reiki skills for yourself or within a therapeutic setting and as a path of spiritual development. In this course we explore the meaning and application of the traditional Reiki symbols, as taught by Mikao Usui. These symbols are tools supporting clear focus and intent. Through practical experience, meditation and chi moving exercises, participants will learn about distant healing for self, others, situations, ‘space clearing’ and continue their ‘hands-on’ healing work.

Shamanic Healing

Shamanic Journey: healing through the chakras

This workshop brings together two ancient healing methods – Shamanic Journey and Chakra Healing. You will learn how to use Shamanic Journey as a personal healing, empowerment and divination tool whilst at the same time learning about the power centres of the body, how to channel and work with energy to balance and heal the chakras and enter into deep soul imagery by creating your personal power totem. Through this workshop you will learn more about the shamanic view of power and power loss, ways to use shamanic journey work in everyday life, refine your powers of perception and intuition and discover more about how you can access the sacred healing realms.

Soul Centred Counselling 1

Learning how to work with clients and their presenting issues is part of effective practice. In this subject you will learn about the basic theory and frameworks of soul centred counselling and practise the fundamental mind-body skills and methods in a supportive environment. You will learn how to be with, hold and support the integration of a client’s/groups process to enable them to connect with a different level of their experience.

Within this 3 day workshop all aspects of energetic healing practices are incorporated in a supportive manner with each student’s unique orientation, current levels of training development and skill set for their work in professional practice. Direct healing work will be provided to a volunteer client who is not a participant of the training. Time will be allocated to integration, review and refinement of the learning including how to manage the client session and practitioner responsibilities.

This term introduces a range of meditation styles and forms from a variety of spiritual traditions to stabilise our practice and enhance our capacity for clarity, wellbeing, peace and the rewards of insights. It consists of one 6-hour weekend intensive and five two-hour classes or for the mid-year intake, two 8-hour intensives. An important element of this term is your commitment to ongoing practice between classes.
