The study of the planets as they move through the sky is as old as human history itself. Understanding what the planets and their cycles mean; decoding the inner workings of the Zodiac and grasping the concepts of the 12 houses gives you access to divine knowledge. Who are you? Why are you here? What works well for you and what doesn’t in this lifetime?

Class discussion will include student chart examples as well as examples of famous individuals. No prior knowledge is needed and students can take a fascinating journey into discovering what motivates them and why.

Astrology 5

We will introduce the astrology of relationships, and look at how synastry and composite charts can describe the physical, sexual and professional connection between individuals using planetary symbols. We will also introduce the use of asteroids, and focus on how their application works, especially from a predictive point of view.In this subject we also go back to basics to get a thorough grounding in chart calculation. Although contemporary astrologers employ computers for accurate calculation, a working knowledge of chart symbolism based on the reality of the experiential sky is essential for good astrological practice. You will learn to construct a chart using the ephemeris and Book of Tables, as well as construct a progressed chart by hand.

The wheel of the year turns, moving us into a waning time of increasing darkness. As we begin to spiral within, in readiness for Winters’ stillness, we give thanks for all that we are and all that we have received. Autumn Equinox, where the night is equal to the day in length, is also about balance; restoring balance within our self, our communities and the world. It is a night of endings and beginnings where we can seek guidance in seeing clearly and deepening our intuition.

chart Practice (year 2)

Our ongoing practice workshops give students the chance to practice skills within a supervised environment. Emphasis will be given to real-life examples, and working with clients in a simulated setting. These workshops form the foundation for Student Clinic, to be completed at the end of the Diploma year. In this way, we continue the tradition of transmitting astrological knowledge through an apprenticeship program, building student confidence and proficiency along the way.

dreams and symbols workshop

Dreams are a realm that communicates to you via Universal and personal symbols.You will venture into a world that appears mysterious and unexplainable to find that it is actually of your own creation.You will get to know and understand how your daily life and your dream world interact with each other so that you can consciously work with what your dreams are disclosing to you

Various types of dreams will be discussed and you will be working with your own dreams in order to better understand the different aspects of yourself. Understanding your own symbols is a fascinating and extremely educational experience and one that will aid you in your journey through life.

You need to bring along a few dreams that you have written down for personal reflection and exercises.

Energetic Healing Practical (monthly) year 2

In this group students practice their skills being developed throughout the training. The skills learnt in each subject are practiced with each other under supervision. There is also the opportunity to explore relevant themes and issues emerging from the experiences of the course.

Intuitive Awareness 1 – Intuition, Chakras & Energy Fundamentals (evening class)

Term 1 is about Establishing the Foundation. This term provides insights and practical skills to enhance intuitive awareness and personal wellbeing. Students will learn about the use of intuition in daily life and the value of working with the power of intention. The body’s subtle energy system is discussed and weekly practical exercises will provide understanding of the physical and psychological function of the seven major chakras. An understanding of the mind-body connection, the benefits of a supportive environment and personal energy protection, provides insights and practical skills to enhance and maintain energy levels and wellbeing. Students will also have the opportunity for intuitive integration and experience natural occurring altered states of consciousness using sound and creative methods.

Meditation Mastery is for anyone with meditation experience who is interested in exploring advanced levels of consciousness in a safe and supportive environment.  This monthly group explores meditation as a pathway to an advanced  experience of  higher levels of consciousness and personal vibration and astral levels facilitated by working in a group. We will work with practices that stabilise the deeper states and enhance our capacity for clarity, wellbeing, peace and the rewards of insights.Class size will be limited.

This workshop explores how to support and maintain optimum health while working intensively with clients, or during periods of transformation and rapid spiritual development. During these times our body, in particular our nervous, digestive and glandular systems require different nutrients, diet and assistance to accommodate such changes in frequency, insights and to maintain an intense level of focus. You will learn ways of enhancing your vitality, choosing diets, detoxification for spiritual and physical support, particular nutritional supplements, superfoods, chi moving exercises, acupressure, essential oils and essences.

Polarity Therapy 1

Polarity therapy is a form of hands on healing which incorporates specific gentle rocking and rotation movements of the body to release constriction and tension. When hands are placed on positive and negative points on the body an energy current is activated between these 2 points, assisting in balancing and recharging the body as the energy flows. When we are in a relaxed state our bodies innate intelligence will automatically correct any temporary imbalances. This treatment is deeply relaxing yet revitalising and is a powerful healing technique strengthening the individual’s own life force.

This course is for anyone who has wanted to learn how to develop their psychic abilities or to enhance their current psychic skills. You may be thinking of using your natural psychic ability to enhance your personal and/or work life by becoming more intuitive or to develop an income stream by offering people readings.

Practicing Reiki we develop greater connection with our true nature. As you radiate love and joy, it allows others to connect with their own love, joy and healing.

Come along to our Reiki circle offered each term and facilitated by the lovely Jacqui Bushell. For anyone who’s completed Reiki 1, 2 or Master, this afternoon is a fantastic refresher opportunity to practice your Reiki and glean guidance if it’s been a while since you’ve practice. Book early as this class fills up fast!

shamanic journey: the medicine wheel

In this weekly class you will learn about, practice and refine the foundation skill of shamanic journeying which is common across many cultures and traditions. You will learn how to become more powerful in your day to day life whilst at the same time learning about the shamanic journey and the web of life. Through the learning framework of the Medicine Wheel you will learn how to work with power animals, power symbols, intention, the subtle energy bodies, levels of reality, expanding consciousness, illness, healing and divination to access and restore personal power.

In this workshop you will build the ground of your shamanic knowledge by learning about some of the shamanic practices that are common across cultures and traditions and how these practices are used. You will explore and practice some of the foundation processes, rituals and ceremonies that underpin shamanic practice as a life art and as a healing modality. You will learn methods for shifting consciousness and training awareness to open your communication channels so that you can enter into a deeper listening relationship with Spirit; the shamanic view of power; the four cardinal directions and elements; shamanic states of consciousness and shamanic symbols.

In this module you will learn how to combine the fundamental soul-centred counselling skills to help you to be with a client effectively, facilitate a change process and support the client to integrate change into daily life. You will learn more about and practice methods for working with a client’s process: solution-focussed helping, archetypes, dream work and spiritual emergence/emergency. Soul-centred counselling skills are vital to helping clients to resolve immediate life challenges, learn new skills, discover opportunities, understand underlying issues and develop different strategies and approaches to support their healing.

subtle energy systems of the body

This one day course provides an understanding of the Body’s Subtle Energy System which includes the chakras, auric field and meridians. The chakras are viewed from a physical and a psychological perspective, with links to the auric field and meridians outlined. The subtle energy system is explained in an easy to understand way, with opportunities to sense and feel the energy fields. This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in increasing their awareness and personal wellbeing, as well as natural therapy students or practitioners, health workers, energetic healing or shamanic students.

The use of imagination is an essential component of many intuitive and therapeutic practices. Understanding how myths, symbols and archetypes can describe dimensions of shared experience is invaluable for anyone with an interest in the human psyche. Here, we will explore some of the major recent developments in the study of myth, symbol and archetype, and look at how these inform contemporary therapeutic practice.

We will explore key insights opened by pioneers such as Jung, Campbell and Greene, as well as the use of imagery and symbol in the therapeutic and psycho-spiritual transaction. Psychologist James Hillman has suggested that the basis of mind is mytho-poetic. We will explore this idea from an experiential perspective to understand how the use of symbol and imagery might amplify our work as competent practitioners.
