what is polarity therapy?
Polarity Therapy is a powerful yet gentle holistic healing system combining aspects of the world’s most ancient medical wisdom with modern advances in health care.
Current research acknowledges that energy fields, including electromagnetic, are the foundations of life, reflecting what ancient medicine teaches about life energy, chi or prana. This life energy weaves the very fabric of our beings creating the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions in life. Muscular pain, structural imbalance and disease are the results of underlying energy imbalances. Polarity Therapy improves the flow of energy in our bodies bringing greater balancing the whole system. Polarity Therapy is now being recommended and used by many health professionals, including doctors, nurses, counsellors and massage therapists.
Polarity Therapy practitioners have the ability to work with clients utilising mind/body connections/medicine resulting in greater health and vitality, a decrease in painful conditions and the balancing and releasing of energy blocks ensuring the physical body stays free disease and ill health.
This integrated system of healing utilises hands on techniques, counselling, diet and energy moving exercises as part of a comprehensive approach to healing. Being energy based, Polarity is similar to acupressure, Reiki and Therapeutic Touch, but is more detailed creating more precision, allowing more specific results. This non-invasive therapy balances energy fields and currents, encouraging healing of tissues, organs and systems, while integrating emotions, mind and spirit.
