by train

Awareness Institute is located an easy 3 minute walk from St. Leonards train station on the north shore line.

by bus

Buses run along the Pacific Hwy with regular stops in St Leonards. Best landmark is the St Leonards Train Station Forum.

by car

There are three council car parking stations within easy walking distance:

Chandos St, St Leonards

  • Weekdays $3.50 per hour 8am to 6pm, $1.20 per hour  6pm to 11pm
  • Weekends 9am to 11pm all day parking for $4.00

Hume St,  Crows Nest

  • 2 hours free parking up to 6pm Monday to Saturday, (fees apply after 2 hours and after 6pm)
  • Unlimited all day Sunday

Nicholson St,  Crows Nest

  • 2 hours free parking day and evening during the week (fees apply after 2 hours), unlimited after 6pm
  • 2 hours free parking Saturday (fees apply after 2 hours), then unlimited after 1pm
  • Unlimited all day Sunday

 

There is also free street parking after 6pm during the week, Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday. This varies on which side of the street you are, so please check parking signs carefully.
