In astrology 1 we explore the planets position in our solar system and how these can influence our unique personality patterns and karmic challenges. Explore the different archetypal symbols that each planet describes and how this can greatly influence the way in which you face the world. Learn about Sun signs, Moon signs and how they interact, as well as the importance of astrology through history. Class discussion will include student chart examples as well as examples of famous individuals. No prior knowledge is needed and students can take a fascinating journey into discovering what motivates them and why.
For those wanting to continue the fascinating exploration of the interplay of astrological forces within our lives, we also offer a face-to-face or online certificate in contemporary astrology. This one year course furthers your understanding, building on the foundations of Astrology. By the end of this course you will be able to read and interpret a birth chart and develop competency in the knowledge of planets, signs, houses, aspects, transits, and progressions. Upon completion, you will be able to describe the unique qualities of a given individual as shown in the birth chart, and make reasonable forecasts about how circumstances may unfold in this individual’s life.
At the end of this course, you will be eligible to sit for the FAA Chart Interpretation exam.
If you are wanting to delve deeper and become a practicing astrologer, our 2 year diploma of contemporary astrology continues on from the certificate in contemporary astrology provides you with the skills and knowledge to confidently offer readings for clients.
You will learn to make comprehensive and detailed predictions, and include asteroids into your chart interpretation. You will also learn about relationship astrology, and the specialist techniques used to assess compatibility. Dive into advanced predictive techniques including profections and solar returns, as well as honing your chart interpretation skills. You will also learn about horary astrology, and how traditional techniques can enhance the accuracy of your practice. This is also offered as a face-to-face or online course.
